Varsity Grill is a sports bar and grill based in downtown Tacoma, Washington.

Opening a new restaurant in an area that has long been in need of revitalizing is very difficult, Jon Tartaglia along with some close friends had a vision of a BBQ sports bar and grill. Jon enlisted help to create that vision in a logo.

The logo needed to accomplish very specific goals; 1-It must must look corporate and elegant enough for businesses and white colored workers to identify with. 2- The logo had to look like they serve BBQ and bar food. 3-It had to look like a sports bar.

Accomplishing these very specific needs it was a huge success, winning national awards for design. More than that business has been booming.
